Download a translation

  1. Tap your avatar, top right
  2. Choose Settings
  3. Tap Offline Bible
  4. Press Download next to the translation you want

The download keeps running if you leave the screen. Once it's finished, that translation works with no connection.

Change the translation you're reading

  1. Open the Bible tab
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top bar
  3. Pick a translation from Bible Version

You stay on the same passage, so you can compare wording without losing your place. Only downloaded translations appear.

Free up space

  1. Go to Settings → Offline Bible
  2. Find the translation under Downloaded
  3. Tap the bin icon and confirm

The built-in King James Version can't be deleted — it's part of the app, not a download.

Turn on the daily verse reminder

  1. Tap your avatar → Settings
  2. Switch on Daily Verse Notifications
  3. Set the time you'd like it

If nothing arrives, check that notifications are allowed for Explore the Word in your phone's own settings.

Write a sermon note

  1. Open the Notes tab
  2. Tap the + button
  3. Add the title, speaker, church and date
  4. Tap Add beside Bible Verses to attach passages
  5. Write your notes, then Save

Works with no signal. Notes sync once you're back online.

Notes or history not syncing

  1. Check you're signed in — avatar menu, top right
  2. Confirm you have a connection
  3. Pull down on the list to refresh

Notes are saved on your device first, so nothing is lost while you're offline — syncing just catches up later.

Delete your account

  1. Avatar menu → Account Settings
  2. Choose Delete Account
  3. Read what will be removed, then confirm

This is permanent. Downloaded Bibles stay on your device; your synced notes and history are deleted.

Make the text bigger

  1. Change the text size in your phone's own settings
  2. The app follows it, including accessibility sizes

For Scripture specifically, the reader has its own font-size control under the gear icon.
